Coastal
Salt winds and free-draining, sandy soil. We choose tolerant planting and add irrigation to carry a garden through the drier months.
Hillside
Terraced and sloping sites where retaining, steps and level changes do as much as the planting to make the space usable.
Inner-city
Small courtyards and back gardens where every metre counts, shaped for privacy, shelter and year-round use.
